Hello and a very warm welcome to our new Scottish Region website! I’m delighted to introduce you to this little digital corner of the Camping and Caravanning Club — a place to stay connected, share stories, and keep up with everything going on across our region. Whether you're a seasoned tourer, a family of first-time campers, or someone who just loves a weekend away, there’s something here for everyone.
Scotland offers some of the most breathtaking camping experiences in the UK — from wild and windy coasts to peaceful lochside pitches, we really are spoiled for choice. But it's the people that make our region truly special: the volunteers who give their time so generously, the members who support our events, and the friendships that grow around a campfire. This website is your hub for news, upcoming meets and rallies, and a good dose of inspiration. So pull up a chair (or a camping stool), have a browse, and hopefully I’ll see you on site soon!

A warm welcome awaits you when you camp with us. We’re a welcoming and inclusive camping group with community spirit at the heart of everything we do. Scottish Region is made up of 6 District Associations and 2 Sections. Our meets are more than just weekends away, they’re fun-filled gatherings where friendships grow and memories are made. Whether we’re enjoying live music under the stars, sharing laughs over games, or simply catching up at a coffee morning or afternoon tea, there’s always something to look forward to. Everyone is welcome to camp with any DA or Section, and there’s a place for all, whether you’re a seasoned camper or pitching your tent for the first time. It’s not just about where we camp, but who we camp with.

Weekend Meets
You’ll find details of our weekend activities and directions in the Scottish Region section of the Out and About magazine.
Our weekend camp meets take place in a variety of locations, such as:
• Farmers’ fields
• Rally fields
• Commercial campsites
• Club Sites
Camp fees vary depending on the site type, typically ranging from £5 – £20 per night.

Looking for a longer break? Try one of our Temporary Holiday Sites (THS)!
These are just like our weekend meets, but you can stay for 2 to 28 days.

Not a member? Join the club today...
Join The Camping and Caravanning Club today to benefit from over 100 years of expertise as well as specially selected discounts tailored to our members. As soon as you are a member you will be assigned to a District Association (DA). This will be the closest DA to where you live and shown on your membership card. You are then free to go camping with any of the 93 DA's over 13 Regions in the UK.
